Joan Packard Luks brings over 20 years of experience in the licensing and consumer products business. Her career in the licensing business began as a liaison to major licensors (Children’s Television Workshop, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Consumer Products, Turner Home Entertainment, etc.) for the ever popular and classic Colorforms Company. As Director of Licensing at GUND, the premier soft toy and gift company, she developed strong partnerships for GUND with Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Workshop, Warner Bros. and other key licensors making GUND a significant player with high profile properties such as Classic Pooh, Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, Dora the Explorer, Beatrix Potter, Pat the Bunny, Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, etc.. She worked closely with the licensors and co-licensees to coordinate uniform promotions to help build the property.

Suk Lee was born in Hong Kong, but grew up in New York when her family immigrated to the United States. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. Suk brings over over 15 years of publishing and international experience. In senior international positions working for multi-national conglomerates such as Scholastic, Viacom, Hearst Corporation and Golden Books Family Entertainment, Suk was involved in strategic business development. Over the years, Suk has formed a strong network of relationships with major entertainment, publishing and distribution companies . Suk brings to The Serenata Group her understanding and experience in publishing as one of the key anchors in brand marketing as well as business contacts in the international markets.

Suk is a member of LIMA (Licensing International Association), Asian-American Advertising Federation, The Asian-American Film Society, The Asian-American Women in Business Organization and The National Association of Women in Business.
